The theme for this report was 40 Years: A Legacy of Supporting Generations. The report featured multiple generations of policyholders, including one of our first. Promoting Autodesk's Inventor for Architects to high-level purchasing decision-makers, the package used an off-the-shelf box and included an iPod Touch featuring a video message from Autodesk CEO Carl Bass, plus Inventor software and associated materials, a cover letter, and personalized labels.

Four illustrations developed for the launch of Adobe Acrobat 9 in 2008. We were tasked with creating four Type of Work (TOW) illustrations, focused on communication and collaboration issues that exist in the contemporary work —they were designed to allow the end user (marketing partner) to use select elements or the entire illustration.

While at Shimako-Dominguez, I designed the 30th annual California League of Conservation Voters (CLCV) California Environmental Scorecard which rates each member of the California Legislature on key environmental votes. The key challenge of this piece was organizing the voting records of 100+ California politicians; in order to streamline the reader's experience, I created a double gate fold centerfold.

A high impact dimensional package developed for the Adobe LiveCycle team. The premium, a Solio portable solar charger, spoke to the "green" virtues of the LiveCycle product. This "green" idea was extended by utilizing the existing Solio packaging and creating a new sleeve for it, then nesting a small brochure and letter inside.

I created several layouts for the 2010 PMSLIC (Pennsylvania Medical Society Liability Insurance Company) annual report during a short contracting stint at NORCAL Group in December of 2010. Roughly one month later I came back to complete these projects. Key challenges were lack of a supporting team (it was just myself, a project manager, and the writer, Clark Miller), no clear direction, and no established brand guidelines. Despite these challenges, visually interesting and cost effective solutions were realized.

Created in the Spring of 2013, this "blended" annual report focused on the NORCAL Group's efforts to merge three companies into a national MPLI (Medical Professional Liability Insurance) provider. Our in-house team of created this print piece and the accompanying 2012 Financial Statement for NORCAL Mutual, as well as a supporting microsite. Additionally, the team was responsible for photographing and producing video of the Board of Directors and CEO.

Two postcards, the first developed as an pre-show teaser to drive prospects to the Novus booth at the 29th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) in 2012. The premium incentive was a raffle for an Amazon Kindle pre-loaded with white papers. The second, developed as a follow-up for the ASMBS meeting, the goal of the this piece was to drive prospects to the Quick Quote tool at novusmd.com.
